SSI Partnership
ESRI Australia is the first organisation to partner with the Spatial Sciences Institute (SSI) as part of their Sustaining Partners Program as a Platinum Plus Partner.
This partnership identifies ESRI Australia as one of the country's leading location intelligence organisations and enables us to work in conjunction with SSI to continue to build the status of the industry and in turn, better serve its members and our clients.
One of the most significant benefits that we can pass onto our clients as a result of becoming an SSI Platinum Plus Partner is that ESRI Australia training courses and a number of events will be endorsed by SSI's certification program, providing attendees with the opportunity to earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program points.
We offer a wide range of professional training courses which cater for all levels of knowledge and skill within the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) industry. Courses range from Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced and run over a number of days, depending upon the course complexity and the amount of material to be covered by participants.

The partnership will also see a closer working relationship with the SSI Young Professionals group, as well as continuing our strong support of the use of GIS in schools. We are pleased to be supporting the 2008 Spatial Technology in Schools competition, and will be supplying GIS software free of charge to competing schools.
