ESRI Australia

Grant Program

The ESRI Conservation Program is the non-profit support arm of the Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI).  ESRI have helped to create and develop spatial analysis, computer mapping and geographic information system (GIS) capabilities among thousands of non-profit organisations and individual projects of all sizes and types worldwide.

ESRI Australia is pleased to offer the availability of a grant program for ESRI desktop software through the ESRI Conservation Program to non-profit organisations throughout Australia.

Eligibility

Grants are made on a case-by-case basis to any non-profit or non-government organisation working in the field of environmental conservation.

The primary eligibility criterion for a grant is the organisation's commitment to spend the time needed to learn to use the software, their financial need, and how their project will benefit the environment.

Grants are not normally made to private commercial organisations.  Grants are given out on the condition that they may only be used for non-profit work and may NOT be used for private commercial work.
