Queensland Spatial Conference 2008
The theme of the Queensland Spatial Industry Conference 2008 is: Global Warning: What's Happening In Paradise?
Queensland is host to some of the fastest growing regions in Australia. The relentless effect of drought and impact of global warming on our drier agricultural communities has resulted in a gradual urbanisation of coastal zones. As a society, we are now faced with the challenge of planning for a rapidly increasing population, maintaining the health of our environment and factoring in the presence of climate change.
The QSC2008 Conference will look at some of the solutions to the challenges that climate change is generating and to contribute your ideas and innovative solutions on this important issue.
