The above example shows a Petroleum dataset loaded into Dekho (ArcGIS via ArcGIS Server). It consists of both Gas and Petroleum pipelines, Platforms (Rigs), Oil Fields, Wells, to name but a few important layers.
The user here has performed Search Query to find all pipelines needing emergency replacement after an incident on the Island.
The user then brings up the selection review panel to view the results of the search. Due to the advancd spatial analysis capabilites out of the box with Dekho, the user can quickly see what other features are affected. It shows details such as Pipeline information, Pipelines within 500m (via spatial analysis - buffer 500m), Pipeline Valves (via spatial analysis - buffer 1m), Platforms Affected (via spatial analysis - buffer 1m).
Further to the Selection Review pane shown in the previous example, the user can also see any documents associated with the selection set. For emergency situations, this would be a crucial element in a web-based delivery system such as Dekho. For example - seeing a complete set of pipe or platform plan images!
A 5km buffer around the affected island has been run, thus returning many spatial layer results in the single review. Selected Wells, Fields, Junctions, Platforms and Valves, are all reported on.
