Dekho Water
Here, we take a closer look at how Dekho can be used in the Water Industry.
Dekho is an extremely powerful querying and reporting tool out of the box, yet by adding the Dekho ArcFM Server Extension, it takes the level of geospatial analysis to another level entirely. As a user, you now have the ability to conduct network tracing on either Gas, Electricity, or in the case examples below; Water.

The Dekho ArcFM Server extension allows the user to run various tracing functions on the Geometric Network as set up in ArcGIS. In the above example, a Valve Isolation trace has been performed to isolate the two valves on the water pipe network.
Next, the user has performed a Squeeze Off, whereby the pipe is cut, to see the affected spatial features in the network. The small red slash depicted on the screen is where the user has clicked.
Finally, the user has decided to exclude a valve from the network to see the resultant effect. The small red triangle facing upwards depicts where the user has clicked.
