ArcFM Extensions
ArcFM is the core data maintenance, mapping and asset management product, providing productivity and enterprise-enabling tools for more than 370 utility organisations worldwide. With a complete set of data QC tools, including circuit integrity management, the ArcFM environment provides the basis for managing a utility's distribution system data.
ArcFM contains a complete range of network asset information management tools. There are four ArcFM product extensions that enhance the network management and analysis environment:
- ArcFM Designer is an extension to the ArcFM Solution that provides an integrated environment for preparing construction work sketches, work flow management, structural and network analysis, automated layouts, and job cost estimates
- ArcFM Viewer is a lightweight viewing application that includes all ArcFM query, display and tracing capabilities, but does not allow editing
- ArcFM with Redliner Extension allows users to leverage the benefits of ArcFM Viewer with the additional capability of redlining, sketching, and placing graphics
- ArcFM with Inspector Extension allows users to leverage the benefits of ArcFM Viewer with the additional capability of updating attributes for inspections, joint-use, damage assessments, etc.
- Conduit Manager enables the maintenance and analysis of major underground cable and duct systems
- Fiber Manager extends the ArcGIS data model to include fiber and communication cables, and allows ArcFM to map and manage cable connectivity and duct relationships
- Network Adapter is an integration framework that simplifies the use of the GIS network model with third-party analysis applications (e.g., Cyme, Advantica, DMS, etc.). It also support integration to Telvent's DMS and OASyS SCADA systems
